ActaJuni Shake is a Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMP) designed for the dietary management of children with or at risk of developing disease-related malnutrition and growth failure. It is a powder based on milk protein with added carbohydrate, fat, a range of vitamins and minerals, which provides a 1.5 kcal/ml nutritionally balanced milkshake-style oral nutritional supplement when reconstituted with water.
Each 57g sachet is reconstituted with 150ml of water to create approximately 207ml of delicious milkshake. The formula provides 288 kcal per serving with 15g of high-quality milk protein, 31g of carbohydrate, and 8.0g of fat. The formula is enriched with a comprehensive range of vitamins and minerals specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of growing children aged 3-10 years.
ActaJuni Shake is ACBS approved and prescribable on Form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for children aged 3 to 10 years and/or weighing up to 35kg, with or at risk of developing disease-related malnutrition and growth failure. The formula is designed as a supplement to a normal diet and is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
Available in delicious Smooth Vanilla flavour in convenient 57g sachets, supplied in cartons containing 7 sachets. The powder can be mixed with cold or hot water (do not use shaker with hot liquids). Best served cold but can be made up hot if preferred. Once reconstituted, drink immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Stir before drinking.
Important: For enteral use only. Must be used under medical supervision. Not suitable for infants. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Not suitable for patients with cow's milk allergy. Not suitable for children aged between 3-10 years receiving warfarin due to potential drug nutrient interactions.

Suggested Intake
1-2 servings a day unless otherwise indicated by the clinician or dietitian.
Dosage should be calculated according to individual requirements.

Preparation Instructions
One 57g sachet should be reconstituted with 150ml of water.
It is best served cold but can be made up hot if preferred.
Mixing instructions when using a shaker:
⚠ DO NOT USE SHAKER WITH HOT LIQUIDS
- First pour 150ml of water into the shaker and then add one 57g sachet of ActaJuni Shake
- Replace the lid making sure it is securely fastened and shake vigorously
- Decant into your glass or mug to drink, or refrigerate in the shaker or another suitable container for up to 24 hours
Mixing instructions when using a whisk or fork (works for hot and cold liquids):
- First pour 150ml of water into the glass or mug and then add one 57g sachet of ActaJuni Shake
- Mix thoroughly with a whisk or fork
- Drink immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours
Storage Instructions
- Unopened: Store away from light, under dry, clean, and cool conditions (5°-20°C)
- Reconstituted: Once reconstituted, ActaJuni Shake may be stored for up to 24 hours in a refrigerator
