Cow & Gate First Infant milk is a nutritionally complete breastmilk substitute, suitable as the sole source of nutrition from birth and as part of a weaning diet from 6 months to 12 months.
Contra-Indications
i. Not suitable for intravenous use. ii. Not suitable for cows' milk allergy or lactose intolerance. iii. Not suitable for vegetarians.
Preparation and Directions for Use
Ready to feed - no preparation required. Shake well before use. Once opened, unused milk in the original bottle or sterile syringes, can be kept refrigerated (≤4°C) for max. 8 hours. For hygiene reasons, discard unfinished milk in the feeding bottle immediately after use, and always after 1 hour. Bottles and teats for single use only.
Storage
Cow & Gate® First Infant milk Liquid 70ml should be stored in a cool, dry place. Bottles should remain in the box or in a dark place to protect the contents from light.
Dental Advice
When bottle feeding do not allow prolonged or frequent contact of milk feeds with your baby's teeth as this increases the risk of tooth decay. Make sure your baby's teeth are cleaned after the last feed at night.
