Fresubin® 2 kcal Crème is a nutritionally complete, high energy (2.0 kcal/g), high protein (20% energy) spoonable oral nutritional supplement specifically designed for the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease-related malnutrition, particularly those with increased energy and protein needs, fluid restriction and/or dysphagia.
The formula is thickened to IDDSI Level 4 (Extremely Thick), making it particularly suitable for patients with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) who require texture-modified foods and fluids. The dessert-style consistency provides a pleasant eating experience while delivering concentrated nutrition in a small volume.
Each 125g cup provides 250 kcal and 12.5g of high-quality milk protein, supporting both energy and protein requirements. The formula is nutritionally complete, containing all essential vitamins and minerals. It is clinically lactose free (≤0.19g per cup) and gluten free, making it suitable for patients with lactose intolerance or coeliac disease.
Available in Wild Strawberry flavour in convenient ready-to-eat 125g cups, supplied in a 4-pack format. The product is ready to use - simply stir gently before eating. Best served chilled for optimal taste and consistency.

Usage & Administration
Indications for Use
For the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease related malnutrition, in particular with increased energy and protein needs, fluid restriction and/or dysphagia.
Food for Special Medical Purposes.
Prescribable on FP10/GP10 for the following indications: For the dietary management of disease related malnutrition - short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of malnourished patient, dysphagia, proven inflammatory bowel disease, following total gastrectomy, bowel fistula, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and haemodialysis.
Dosage
Dosage to be determined by a healthcare professional according to the patient's requirements.
Recommendation for supplementary nutrition: 3-4 cups/day
For complete nutrition: 7-8 cups/day which will provide 1750-2000 kcal, 87.5-100g protein and 100-200% of vitamins, minerals and trace elements
