Product Description: Nutrison Peptisorb Plus HEHP is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. It is a 1.5kcal/ml peptide-based, nutritionally complete, ready to use, high energy, high protein tube feed for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in patients with malabsorption and/or maldigestion. Suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

Usage & Administration
Indications
ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for adults with disease-related malnutrition, short bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, bowel fistulae, inflammatory bowel disease, total gastrectomy and for the pre-operative preparation of patients who are malnourished.
Precautions
Use with caution in children aged 1-6 years.
Preparation and Directions for Use
Check appearance and shake well before opening. Do not dilute or add medications to the formula. Use at room temperature. Maximum hanging time: 24 hours. OpTri bottles can be attached directly to a Flocare giving set.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, close the OpTri bottle and store in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.
