Product Description: Nutramigen 3 LGG® is an extensively hydrolysed, hypoallergenic growing-up formula with Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG®) bacteria culture and vanilla flavouring. It is specifically designed for the dietary management of cow's milk allergy in toddlers from 1 year onwards as part of a weaning diet. The formula contains extensively hydrolysed casein protein, which is broken down into smaller peptides to reduce allergenicity while maintaining nutritional value. LGG® is a probiotic that may help support immune tolerance development. Suitable for use alongside a varied diet.

Usage & Administration
Indications
Nutramigen 3 LGG® is ACBS approved and prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the dietary management of cow's milk allergy.
Preparation Instructions
Standard concentration: 13.5% (1 level scoop = 4.5g to each 30ml of water)
- Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturer's instructions
- Boil fresh water. Cool down to room temperature. Do not use softened water
- Pour desired amount of water into clean bottle
- Add required number of level scoops of powder (see feeding guidelines). Store dry scoop in the can
- Close bottle, roll and shake well until powder dissolves completely (approx 1 minute)
- Check temperature on inside of wrist
- Feed immediately after preparation or cover and store in a refrigerator at 2-4°C for no longer than 24 hours
Warning: Do not freeze prepared formula and do not use if unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. Use formula that has been in contact with the infant's mouth within 1 hour and do not refrigerate. Throw away prepared formula left in bottle and clean utensils.

Storage Instructions
Powder storage: Store tin in a cool dry place. After opening, keep tightly covered, store in a dry area and use contents within 1 month. Do not freeze powder and avoid excessive heat.
Shelf life: 24 months from date of manufacture. Use within 1 month of opening.
Contraindications
Nutramigen LGG® is not recommended for premature and immunocompromised infants unless directed and supervised by a healthcare professional.
Important Notice
Breastfeeding is best for babies. The decision to discontinue breastfeeding may be difficult to reverse and the introduction of partial bottle-feeding may reduce breast milk supply. The financial benefits of breastfeeding should be considered before formula feeding is initiated. Failure to follow preparation instructions carefully may be harmful to the infant's health. Parents should always be advised by an independent healthcare professional regarding infant feeding. Products of Mead Johnson must be used under medical supervision.
