MSUD Lophlex LQ 20 is a ready-to-drink, amino acid-based formula specifically designed for the dietary management of Maple Syrup Urine Disease (MSUD) in children aged 1-10 years. It contains a carefully balanced amino acid profile with restricted branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs: leucine, isoleucine, and valine) to help manage plasma amino acid levels in MSUD patients. The formula is nutritionally complete and provides essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals in a convenient 125ml pouch with a pleasant Juicy Berries flavour.

Usage & Administration - MSUD Lophlex LQ 20
Indications
For the dietary management of Maple Syrup Urine Disease (MSUD) in children aged 1-10 years. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland).
Contra-Indications
Not suitable for infants under 1 year of age. Not suitable for children over 10 years without medical consultation. Not suitable for patients with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient.
Precautions
Must be used under medical supervision. Regular monitoring of plasma amino acid levels is essential. Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Adequate fluid intake must be maintained.
Preparation and Directions for Use
Ready-to-drink. No preparation required. Shake well before opening. Serve at room temperature or chilled as preferred. Use immediately after opening. Do not heat or microwave.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) away from direct sunlight. Once opened, consume immediately. Do not store opened pouches. Discard any unused contents after opening.
