Casein glycomacropeptide (GMP) isolate (64%) (from cow's milk), L-leucine, L-tyrosine, L-arginine, dried glucose syrup, L-histidine, L-valine, L-cystine, L-tryptophan, anticaking agent (E551), taurine, L-carnitine, lemon flavouring.

Important Notice
Indications
For enteral use only. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the dietary management of phenylketonuria.
Contra-Indications
Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Not suitable for individuals with a cow's milk allergy. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

- Must be used under medical supervision.
- Suitable for individuals from 3 years of age.
- Only intended for use by individuals with proven phenylketonuria (PKU).
- This product should not be used as a sole source of protein but must be given in conjunction with natural protein and other nutrients to supply the phenylalanine, fluid and general nutrition requirements of the patient in medically prescribed quantities.
- Diet must be supplemented with a suitable vitamin, mineral and trace element source to meet daily requirements.
- PKU GMPro Mix-In contains 18.0mg of phenylalanine per 12.5g sachet - this should be considered with the patient's diet.
- Protein substitutes based on GMP are a natural source of phenylalanine.

Preparation and Directions for Usage
The quantity of feed and dilution should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. The recommended feed concentration is 12.5g powder (1 sachet) made up with 180-240ml of water or flavoured drink. A lower concentration may be required according to individual tastes and tolerance.
Preparation Instructions
- Wash your hands, clean all utensils.
- Measure the required amount of cold water into a container with a screw top lid.
- Add the prescribed quantity of powder.
- Seal and shake well until the powder has dissolved.
- PKU GMPro Mix-In is best served chilled and should be consumed immediately.
- This product may also be added to other prescribed protein substitutes for phenylketonuria or semi-solid foods.
- Do not heat, bake, or add to hot food or drinks (above 55°C).
Usage Methods
- As a chilled drink: Prepare as directed and serve chilled
- Mixed with other foods: Can be added to other prescribed protein substitutes or semi-solid foods
