Preparation and Directions for Usage
TYR GMPro Mix-In is a powdered supplement that requires preparation. The quantity of feed and dilution should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient.
Preparation Instructions
The recommended feed concentration is 12.5g powder (1 sachet) made up with 180-240 ml of water or flavoured drink. A lower concentration may be required according to individual tastes and tolerance. Water or additional fluid should be offered at the same time to ensure adequate fluid intake.
- Wash your hands and clean all utensils.
- Measure the required amount of cold water into a container with a screw top lid.
- Add the prescribed quantity of powder.
- Seal and shake well until the powder has dissolved.
- TYR GMPro Mix-In is best served chilled and should be consumed immediately.
- This product may also be added to other prescribed protein substitutes for tyrosinaemia or semi-solid foods.
- Do not heat, bake, or add to hot food or drinks (above 55°C).
- A slight bitter taste may be noticed when added to water only.
