MCT Oil can be taken directly or mixed with beverages and foods. Standard serving: 1 tablespoon (15ml) per day. Can be gradually increased to 2-3 tablespoons daily as tolerated. Mix with water, juice, or add to food. Do not heat above 160°C (320°F).

Product Description

MCT Oil is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. It is a pure medium-chain triglyceride supplement derived from coconut and/or palm oil. MCT Oil is rapidly absorbed and metabolized, providing quick energy. For the dietary management of malabsorption, malnutrition, and other conditions requiring specialized lipid supplementation. ACBS approved and prescribable on FP10 (GP10 in Scotland).

Indications

For enteral use only. For the dietary management of malabsorption, malnutrition, and other conditions requiring specialized lipid supplementation. MCT Oil is rapidly absorbed and provides readily available energy for patients with impaired fat digestion or absorption.

Medical Supervision

Must be used under medical supervision. For enteral use only. Not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition. Use only as directed by a healthcare professional or dietitian.

Preparation Instructions

1. Standard serving: 1 tablespoon (15ml) per day

Storage

• Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight
• Keep bottle tightly closed after opening
• Use within 12 months of opening
• Shelf life: 24 months from date of manufacture when unopened
• Store at temperature between 15-25°C
