Preparation and Directions for Usage
Each level scoop (4.3g) of powder requires 30ml (approx. 1 fl. oz) of water to yield the recommended feed concentration (12.9% w/v, i.e. 12.9g of product made up to 100ml with water). A lower concentration may be required initially until tolerance is achieved.
Important Safety Notice
THE HEALTH OF YOUR INFANT DEPENDS ON CAREFULLY FOLLOWING THE DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARATION AND USE. INCORRECT PREPARATION CAN MAKE YOUR BABY ILL.
Bottle Feeding Instructions
- Wash hands thoroughly and clean preparation area. Sterilise bottles and teats.
- Boil fresh water for 5 minutes or until an electric kettle switches off. Cool for at least 30 minutes so that it feels warm to the wrist.
- Pour the required amount of water into a sterilised feeding bottle.
- Fill the scoop provided with powder and level off with a clean, dry knife. Do not press the powder into the scoop. Only use the scoop provided.
- Add the prescribed number of scoops of powder to the water. Replace the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves.
- Before use, ensure that the feed is at the correct temperature by placing a few drops on the wrist.
- Use immediately after reconstitution. Any prepared product remaining in the bottle after one hour of feeding should be discarded. The prepared product must not be rewarmed during feeding.
Tube Feeding Instructions
- Use the scoop provided or weigh out the prescribed amount of powder.
- Add a small amount of the required water to the prescribed amount of powder and stir with a fork until a smooth paste is obtained.
- Continue stirring whilst adding the rest of the water until the prescribed dilution is achieved.

Storage & Shelf Life
Shelf Life: 18 months. Best before date: see base of can.
Storage: Store unopened product in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use within one month. Always replace container lid after use. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
