Product Description: Compleat® 1.1 is a nutritionally complete 1.1 kcal/ml standard enteral tube feed containing ingredients derived from food (16% of Compleat® 1.1 contains rehydrated chicken meat and rehydrated vegetables, orange juice from concentrate and peach puree) for adults and children aged 3 years and over. Compleat® 1.1 is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision, for the dietary management of malnourished patients or those at risk of malnutrition.

Usage & Administration - Compleat® 1.1 1000ml

Administration and Dosage

Shake well before use. 1500-2000ml for complete nutrition, or >500ml for partial nutrition, as directed by a healthcare professional. For administration via enteral feeding tube. Use of a pump is recommended in order to maintain a constant feed flow.

Indications for Use

• Short bowel syndrome
• Intractable malabsorption
• Preoperative preparation of undernourished patients
• Inflammatory bowel disease
• Total gastrectomy
• Oesophageal/bowel fistulae
• Feeding intolerance
• Developmental disabilities
• Disease-related malnutrition

Contraindications

• Not suitable for those with allergy to fish or cows' milk protein
• Unsuitable for patients with galactosaemia
• Must be used under medical supervision
• Unsuitable for patients requiring a fibre-free diet

Shelf Life and Storage

• Shelf Life: 12 months from date of manufacture
• Storage: Store unopened in a cool, dry place
• After Opening: Once opened use within 24 hours. If poured out of the pack, cover tightly and use within 6 hours (at room temperature). Unused portion can be recapped, refrigerated and used within 24 hours of opening
