Product Description

PKU Lophlex LQ10 is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. It is a phenylalanine-free amino acid supplement designed for the dietary management of phenylketonuria (PKU). Each 62.5ml pouch provides 10g of protein equivalent from amino acids with zero phenylalanine content. ACBS approved and prescribable on FP10 (GP10 in Scotland).

Usage & Preparation - PKU Lophlex LQ10 Berry 62.5ml

Indications

For enteral use only. For the dietary management of phenylketonuria (PKU) in children 4 years and older, adults, and pregnant women with PKU. Provides phenylalanine-free protein supplementation to maintain blood phenylalanine levels within therapeutic range.

Medical Supervision

Must be used under medical supervision. For enteral use only. Use only as directed by a healthcare professional or metabolic dietitian. Regular monitoring of blood phenylalanine levels is essential.

Preparation Instructions

1. Ready-to-drink pouch - no preparation required
2. Shake well before opening
3. Open pouch and consume immediately
4. Can be chilled before consumption if preferred
5. Use as directed by healthcare professional

Storage

• Store unopened pouches in a cool, dry place
• Once opened, consume immediately
• Do not store opened pouch
• Shelf life: 18 months from date of manufacture when unopened
