It contains a balanced mixture of the other essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, mixed fruit juices (from concentrate) and natural flavourings. The formula includes docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) to support nutritional needs. It is designed to be used in conjunction with a protein source to supply the phenylalanine, fluid and general nutrition requirements of patients with PKU. Best served chilled or can also be served frozen.

Usage & Administration
Indications
PKU Lophlex Sensation 20 is indicated for the dietary management of proven phenylketonuria (PKU) in:
- Children from 4 years of age and over
- Adults
- Pregnant women (in conjunction with standard folic acid supplementation)
Preparation and Administration
- Water or drinks should be offered/taken at the same time as Sensation
- Sensation is best served chilled
- Sensation can also be served frozen
- The dosage should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only
- Dosage is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient
- The daily intake of protein substitute should be taken in divided doses throughout the day
