Actagain Juce is a Food for Special Medical Purposes. It is a high energy (1.5 kcal/ml) ready-to-drink juice-style nutritional supplement designed for the dietary management of patients with or at risk of disease-related malnutrition.
Each 200ml TetraPak provides 300 kcal with 10g of high-quality milk protein and 65g of carbohydrate. The formula is completely fat free, making it ideal for patients on a low-fat diet or those who require energy supplementation without additional fat intake. The juice-style format provides a refreshing alternative to milk-based supplements and may be better tolerated by patients with taste changes or reduced appetite.
Actagain Juce is enriched with a comprehensive range of vitamins and minerals to support nutritional needs. The formula is ACBS approved and prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for a range of clinical indications including short-bowel syndrome, intractable malabsorption, pre-operative preparation of undernourished patients, inflammatory bowel disease, total gastrectomy, bowel fistulae, and disease-related malnutrition.
The Starter Pack contains 5 x 200ml TetraPaks, one of each delicious flavour (Juicy Apple, Zesty Orange, Exotic Fruit, Berry Medley, and Juicy Peach), allowing patients to try all flavours and find their preference. Can be served chilled or at room temperature. Shake well before use. Once opened, consume immediately or refrigerate and use within 24 hours.
Important: For enteral use only. Must be used under medical supervision. Not suitable for children under 6 years of age. Use with caution in children under 11 years of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.
