Product Description

Actasolve Shake Fibre is a Food for Special Medical Purposes. It is a high protein, high fibre powdered oral nutritional supplement. Each 57g sachet provides 374 kcal with 19g of high-quality milk protein and 5.0g of fibre when reconstituted with 200ml whole milk.

The formula is designed for patients with or at risk of disease-related malnutrition who require additional protein and fibre supplementation. The milkshake-style format when mixed with milk provides excellent palatability and compliance.

Usage & Administration

Indications for Use

ACBS approved for the following indications:

• Short-bowel syndrome
• Intractable malabsorption
• Pre-operative preparation of undernourished patients
• Inflammatory bowel disease
• Total gastrectomy
• Bowel fistulae
• Disease-related malnutrition

Suggested Intake

1-2 servings per day unless otherwise indicated by the clinician or dietitian.

Preparation Instructions

Using a Shaker:

1. Pour 200ml of whole milk into the shaker
2. Add 1 sachet (57g) of Actasolve Shake Fibre powder
3. Close the shaker and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until smooth
4. Serve immediately

Using a Whisk or Fork:

1. Pour 200ml of whole milk into a glass or mug
2. Gradually add 1 sachet (57g) of Actasolve Shake Fibre powder while whisking continuously
3. Whisk until smooth and fully dissolved
4. Serve immediately

Important: DO NOT USE SHAKER WITH HOT LIQUIDS. Can be served chilled or at room temperature. For best results, use cold milk. Can also be made with hot milk using whisk or fork method.

Storage Instructions

• Unopened: Store in a cool, dry place (5-20°C)
• Opened: Once reconstituted, consume immediately or refrigerate and use within 24 hours
• Shelf life: 24 months
