Altraplen Protein is a nutritionally complete Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. This ready-to-drink milkshake style oral nutritional supplement provides 300kcal and 20g protein in each 200ml serving, making it an ideal choice for patients with increased nutritional requirements as a result of chronic wounds, post-surgery or any patient with or at risk of developing disease related malnutrition.
Available in Vanilla flavour in convenient ready-to-drink 4 x 200ml cluster pack format.
The formula is nutritionally complete and may be used as a sole source of nutrition or used to supplement a patient's dietary intake. With an energy density of 1.5 kcal/ml and 20g of high-quality protein per 200ml, Altraplen Protein delivers concentrated nutrition with enhanced protein content, making it particularly suitable for patients requiring additional protein support.
The formula is low in lactose (0.18g per 200ml) and gluten-free, making it suitable for patients with lactose sensitivity or coeliac disease.
Altraplen Protein can be consumed frozen, chilled, at room temperature or gently heated according to patient preference. The milkshake-style consistency provides a pleasant drinking experience while delivering comprehensive nutrition with enhanced protein.
Important: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia or cow's milk protein allergy. Use in children under 6 years should be closely monitored by a dietitian or physician. For enteral use only. Must be used under medical supervision.

Shake well before use.
Storage Instructions
- Altraplen Protein should be stored in a cool, dry place (below 25°C)
- Once opened consume within 4 hours or store in a refrigerator and consume within 24 hours
- Discard unused contents thereafter
