Product Description

Calogen Flavoured Strawberry is a very high energy (4.66 kcal/ml), pure fat emulsion oral supplement. Each 100ml provides 466 kcal (97% from fat) with NO protein, vitamins, or minerals. Calogen Flavoured is NOT nutritionally complete and is designed to supplement or fortify the diet of patients who are unable to meet their energy requirements from normal food and drink. It is vegan-friendly and can be taken orally or mixed with food and beverages. For use under medical supervision The convenient 200ml bottle comes with a flexible straw attached, making it easy for children to consume.

Manufactured by Nutricia Ltd, a global leader in paediatric medical nutrition, Calogen Flavoured is ACBS approved and prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland). The product is gluten-free and lactose-free, making it suitable for children with coeliac disease or lactose intolerance.

Usage Instructions

Directions for Use

• Calogen Flavoured is best served chilled
• Shake well before opening
• It may be frozen or gently heated (not boiled)
• Use the flexible straw attached to the bottle for easy consumption

Dosage Recommendations

• For supplementary nutrition: 1-2 bottles per day between meals
• For sole source nutrition: Consult healthcare professional for individual requirements based on age and weight
• Suitable for children from 1 year of age (>8kg body weight)
• Can be used as sole source for children aged 1-6 years or 8-20kg
• Use under medical supervision

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C). Once opened, Calogen Flavoured should be consumed within 4 hours or stored in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Discard unused contents thereafter. Shelf life: 12 months. Best before date: see the side of the bottle.
