Product Description
Fresubin 2 kcal Drink is a 2.0 kcal/ml high energy, high protein oral nutritional supplement for special medical purposes. This ready-to-drink formula is designed for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition in patients with increased energy and protein needs or fluid restrictions.
The formula is fibre free and provides 20% of energy from protein, making it ideal for patients requiring concentrated nutrition. High in vitamin D (20µg per 200ml bottle) to support bone health and immune function.
Fresubin 2 kcal Drink is clinically lactose free (less than 0.3g per 100ml) and gluten free, making it suitable for patients with lactose intolerance or coeliac disease. The formula is nutritionally complete and suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
Available in six delicious flavours in convenient 200ml EasyBottle format, the product is ready to drink and requires no preparation - simply shake well before use. The bottle can be served chilled or at room temperature according to patient preference. Best served chilled for optimal taste.
Important: For enteral use only. Not suitable for children under 3 years. Use with caution in children under 6 years. Not suitable in case of galactosaemia.
Usage Instructions
Food for special medical purposes. To be used under medical supervision.
Dosage
- Supplementary nutrition: 1-2 bottles/day (400-800kcal), or as advised by a healthcare professional
- Complete nutrition: 4-5 bottles/day (1600-2000kcal)
- Note: Suitable as sole source of nutrition
Directions for Use
- Best served chilled. Shake well before use
- Drink directly from the EasyBottle or pour into a glass
- Drink slowly for best tolerance
- Can be served at room temperature if preferred
Storage Instructions
- Store in a cool place, do not store above 25°C
- Once opened, refrigerate and use within 24 hours
