Product Description: Neocate Syneo is a hypoallergenic amino acid-based infant formula with Bifidobacterium breve M-16V probiotic and prebiotic fibres (scFOS & lcFOS). It is specifically designed for the dietary management of cow's milk allergy, multiple food protein allergies, and other conditions where an amino acid-based formula is recommended. The formula contains free amino acids instead of intact or hydrolysed proteins, making it suitable for infants with severe allergies. The probiotic B. breve M-16V may help support gut health and immune development.

Usage & Administration
Indications
Neocate Syneo is ACBS approved and prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the dietary management of cow's milk allergy, multiple food protein allergies, and other conditions where an amino acid-based formula is recommended.
Preparation Instructions
Standard concentration: 14.4% (1 level scoop = 4.8g to each 30ml of water)
- Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturer's instructions
- Boil fresh water. Cool down to room temperature. Do not use softened water
- Pour desired amount of water into clean bottle
- Add required number of level scoops of powder (see feeding guidelines). Store dry scoop in the can
- Close bottle, roll and shake well until powder dissolves completely (approx 1 minute)
- Check temperature on inside of wrist
- Feed immediately after preparation or cover and store in a refrigerator at 2-4°C for no longer than 24 hours
Warning: Do not freeze prepared formula and do not use if unrefrigerated for more than a total of 2 hours. Use formula that has been in contact with the infant's mouth within 1 hour and do not refrigerate. Throw away prepared formula left in bottle and clean utensils.

Storage Instructions
Powder storage: Store tin in a cool dry place. After opening, keep tightly covered, store in a dry area and use contents within 1 month. Do not freeze powder and avoid excessive heat.
Shelf life: 24 months from date of manufacture. Use within 1 month of opening.
Contraindications
Nutramigen LGG® is not recommended for premature and immunocompromised infants unless directed and supervised by a healthcare professional.
Important Notice
Breastfeeding is best for babies. The decision to discontinue breastfeeding may be difficult to reverse and the introduction of partial bottle-feeding may reduce breast milk supply.
